Turn that "I wish I could find time to volunteer " into ACTION in 2014. On January 4th come by for a complimentary breakfast (drop-in b/w 8-11 a.m.) at the American Legion Post on 330 Center Street North in Vienna (upper level) and meet representatives from local nonprofits and organizations. Some of the area nonprofits attending who will tell you about their ongoing and new projects and how you can help them will be: The Shepherd Center, Volunteer Fairfax, CHO, Our Daily Bread, national military service group Honor Cards, Capital Caring, and several others.
Our goal is having each attendee promise 10 hours of their time (teens to seniors) in 2014..think of the difference we can make, together. Community forward.
