About Elizabeth
Elizabeth Vandenburg, a consultant with more than 25 years' experience with nonprofit educational organizations, has written editorials, association newsletters, testimony for public hearings, and brochures. She served as South Lakes High School PTSA president during redistricting and has more than 16 years' involvement in local public schools as volunteer and running the summer school Institute for the Arts and an after-school program for middle schoolers.
She also designed and secured funding for a video on girls in technology that, upon completion, received a $100,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to disseminate the video nationally and translate it into Spanish. She is active with the Reston AAUW branch. In her spare time, Elizabeth swims in the Reston pools and bikes and runs on its trails.
