Thanks for the comment, Chuck. I'm around 6 feet 3 inches tall and standing next to him, I felt like I was 4 feet tall. I'm so used to being the biggest person in the room and yesterday, that all went away. :)

ReplyCongrats on your honors, guys. I remember when I was in high school and won various honors. It's a great feeling and in order to keep earning honors and awards and wins on the field, you must work hard in the off season. Don't wait until that first week of camp to get into football shape, get a start on it now and it will pay off in next season. Again, congrats!

Oh no!!! My wife and I used to go there before I even joined the Patch staff and we were even there about a month ago. It's a great restaurant and it will definitely be missed. It's so cool that their bread baskets include cinnamon rolls. The train over the host stand and just the great service will be missed. Time to gas up the car and drive up to Maryland to Virginia before they close the doors for good.
