Basketball: Flint Hill Boys Fall 4 Points Short

Tough Tuesday loss for the Huskies agains Episcopal.

Flint Hill School's boys' basketball team traded baskets and turnovers with Episcopal throughout Tuesday night's game, Coach Rico Reed said, but Episcopal got the upper hand, hitting 12 out of 15 free throws in the fourth period to win 63-59.  Junior guard Britton Anderson led the Huskies with 20 points.  Junior Cole Herdman pulled down 7 rebounds, and senior Jerrod Reed contributed 5 assists." The next game for the Huskies is Dec. 27 in the Bulldog Bash Holiday Tournament at Westfield. In other basketball news: Flint Hill's girls team also lost Tuesday 79-46 at Georgetown Visitation. The squad will face McLean at 5 p.m. Dec. 22.

Basketball: Flint Hill Defeats Woodberry Forest

Team pulls out 67-45 win Friday.

The Flint Hill boys' basketball tallied a convincing win against Woodberry Forest this evening, winning with a score of 67-45. Sophomore Guard Sam Worman shot a perfect 7 for 7 from the floor and scored a career-high 16 points.  He also led the team with 5 rebounds.  Ben Kase, Jerrod Reed and Greg Harris combined for 16 assists.  The team's next game is at 6 p.m. at home Tuesday against Episcopal.
