BRYC ’98 Elite Wins Virginia State Cup
The team now advances to the U.S. Youth Soccer Association Region I Championships this summer.
The Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC) '98 Elite, a U13 girls travel soccer team, beat Loudoun ’98 to capture the 2012 Virginia Youth Soccer Association State Cup this weekend. The thrilling 1-0 victory – secured by Lily Weber’s goal in the remaining minutes of double-overtime – qualifies the team to represent Virginia at the U.S. Youth Soccer Association Region I Championships in Lancaster, Pa., this summer. The BRYC '98 Elite team is represented by girls who live (or will be going to school) in Vienna, Reston, Oakton, Springfield, Clifton, Annandale, Herndon, Chantilly, Centreville and Fairfax.
