Cougar Clash Continues for Day 2

The sixth annual Cougar Clash continued Saturday, with rain holding off for most of the day but ultimately washing out the last crop of evening games.  The annual tournament, which features 12 teams in both the 13U and 14U divisions from across Northern Virginia, is a fundraiser for the Oakton High baseball program. Fields at Oakton High, Nottoway Park, Stratton Woods, South Lakes High and Madison High hosted all 24 teams Saturday. The tournament will continue Sunday. The championship games are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. for 13U and 4:30 p.m. for 14U, both at Oakton High. For more information on the tournament, visit the Cougar Clash website. The Cougar Clash kicked off Friday with six games spread across three fields in Vienna and Reston.  The annual tournament, which features 12 teams in both the 13U and 14U divisions from across Northern Virginia, is a fundraiser for the Oakton High baseball program. Oakton High baseball program to host sixth annual Cougar Clash

Families can take advantage of weather that promises to hover around 70 degrees this weekend to enjoy one of America's favorite pastimes: baseball.  The Oakton High baseball program, with the hard work and dedication of more than 80 parent and player volunteers, will host its sixth annual Cougar Clash from Friday through Sunday.
