Friends Prepare For Biannual Used Book Sale

The Friends of Oakton Library will host the spring used book sale today through Saturday.

The sale, one of two each year, raises funds for FOL, which supports the library with books, programs and maintenance. Each sale makes around $8,000, said Ralph Tener, book sale co-chair. As always, donations are also welcome.

Tener predicts the sale will offer between 8,000 and 10,000 books for patrons to choose from, including a selection of rare books set up in a separate room and sold at a higher price.
