Chair of Oakton Nonprofit Recognized for Leadership

Lynn Tadlock will receive the Trustee Leadership Award in November.

The chairman of the Oakton-based Community Foundation for Northern Virginia will be presented with the Trustee Leadership Award from Leadership Fairfax.

Lynn Tadlock will receive the award at Leadership Fairfax’s 17th Annual Northern Virginia Leadership Awards Luncheon in Vienna in November.

The Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises money for educational and social causes, according to their website.

“Lynn has exhibited tremendous leadership for the Community Foundation…We are very proud she has been selected for this prestigious award,” Eileen Ellsworth, president of the community foundation, stated in a press release.

Tadlock was also recognized for 28 years of work with the Fairfax County Park Authority, her role in the redevelopment of the Lorton Prison site, and the creation of the County Connector Trail, according to Leadership Fairfax.
