Swimming: Flint Hill Sweeps St. Stephen's & St. Agnes

Boys and girls teams both take home wins.

The Flint Hill School's boys and girls swim teams swept a tri-meet Thursday at Madiera, defeating St. Stephen's & St. Agnes.

The girls' team won 101-75 overall and took home nine event wins:

  • Freshman Lauren Freeman won the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke
  • Senior Natalie Brendsel won the 200 IM and 100 freestyle
  • Senior Anna Lombardo won the 50 freestyle
  • Senior Rachel Swarts won the 500 freestyle
  • The team of sophomore Brittany deCamp, junior Alana Suter, Swarts and sophomore Logan Cunningham won the 200 medley relay
  • The team of Freeman, Brendsel, Cunningham and Swarts won the 200 freestyle relay
  • The team of Swarts, Freeman, Lombardo and Brendsel won the 400 freestyle relay.

The boys' team won 85-77 overall and took home six event wins.

  • Junior Eric Tang won the 200 IM and 100 backstroke
  • Senior Jonah Chang won the 100 butterfly
  • Junior Zach Thornburg won the 100 freestyle
  • The team of Tang, Thornburg, Chang and Junior Tristan Timblin won the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
