Oakton's Flint Hill School to Host Volleyball Invitational

The Flint Hill Invitational draws private school volleyball teams from around Virginia.

Oakton’s Flint Hill School is hosting their ninth annual Flint Hill Volleyball Invitational this weekend. 

The event brings together eight private schools in Virginia.

“We are extremely excited to host a tournament that once again brings together some of the most talented independent school volleyball teams throughout Virginia,” Flint Hill Athletic Director Tom Herman stated in a press release.

The teams participating in this year’s tournament are: Fredericksburg Christian School, Fredericksburg; Liberty Christian Academy, Lynchburg; St. Anne’s Belfield, Charlottesville; Norfolk Academy, Norfolk; Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, Suffolk; Bishop O’Connell, Arlington; and The Madeira School, McLean.

The first match is on Friday at 3 p.m. and the first match on Saturday is at 8 a.m., according to the school.
