Oakton Wrestlers Place Third, Fourth, Fifth in Region

Despite only having three wrestlers compete in the championship round at Saturday's 2011 Northern Region Wrestling Championship, the Cougars held their own. Oakton finished eleventh overall with 65.00 points at the competiton which was held at Fairfax High School.

Austin Murga (189 lb.) led the way for Oakton with his third-place finish, Eddie Gerow (112 lb.) finished fourth, while Matt Norterangelo (152 lb.) placed fifth.
