Oakton, Flint Hill Athletes Selected for All-Met Teams

First team honors go to Caroline Coyer for basketball, Janet Hu and Kaitlin Pawlowicz for swimming

The Washington Post has selected its 2010-11 Winter All-Met teams, with eight Oakton High and two Flint Hill School students included on the list.

Three Oakton High ladies earned the highest honors as first-team athletes: Caroline Coyer, junior, basketball; Kaitlin Pawlowicz, senior, swimming; Janet Hu, freshman, swimming.

Hu's brother, Philip, a sophomore, also made the list. He received an honorable mention for boys swimming.

Joining Coyer with girls basketball honors was her teammate Zora Stephenson, senior, as an honorable mention. Flint Hill's Audrey Dotson, senior, earned a spot on the fourth team, while her teammate Alex Long, junior, was listed as an honorable mention.

For ice hockey, Oakton's Sam Buck, senior, received an honorable mention for his work as a forward.

In track & field, Oakton's Matthew Henton, senior, and Meghan Jean-Baptiste, sophomore, received honorable mentions.
