Oakton Cougar Baseball Camp A Hit

Summer baseball camp at Oakton High School teaches fundamentals

Young baseball players are powering through the heat to learn the fundamentals of the game this week at Oakton Cougar Baseball Camp.

Head Baseball Coach of Oakton High School, Justin Janis, along with Carson Carroll, Todd Burger, Eric Gibbons, and Brent Weiss have given kids the opportunity to improve their baseball skills this summer.  

The Oakton Cougar Baseball Camp is intended to teach players solid fundamental baseball skills. Their goal is to provide each player with the instruction, knowledge and evaluation necessary to raise their level of play. Instruction will emphasize the core values of Oakton Cougar Baseball: excellence, teamwork and integrity.

The camp, offered to 7- to 15-year-olds, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Thursday at Oakton High School.
