Huskies Fight Back for Win in Second Round

Flint Hill boys basketball goes on to final round of Bulldog Bash on Saturday.

The Flint Hill Boys' Basketball rebounded from an overtime loss in the first round of the Bulldog Bash tournament Thursday with a 67-43 victory Friday over Sewickley Academy (PA).  

Coach Rico Reed said the Huskies used a 16-0 run in the first half and a 12-0 run in the second half to build double digit leads. 

Junior guard Britton Anderson led the Huskies with 16 points and five assists, Reed said. Sophomore Sam Worman scored 13 points and Junior Cole Herdman led the team with 10 rebounds.

The Huskies will play at 2:15 p.m. Saturday against Christchurch in the final day of the tournament at Centreville High School.
