Four Oakton Athletes Sign Letters of Intent
Three soccer players, one football player announce college plans
Oakton High School celebrated four of its standout athletes in a signing ceremony and reception in honor of their athletic scholarships.
Family and friends gathered in the school cafeteria to congratulate the following athletes on committing to Division I programs:
- Danielle Fitzgerald, girls soccer, University of Kentucky
- Eric Goins, football, Citadel
- Alex Meyers, girls soccer, University of North Carolina — Charlotte
- Alex Weaver, girls soccer, University of North Caroline — Charlotte
In November, Oakton who had committed to college athletic programs.
