Flint Hills Boys Bball Wins Over Potomac, 63-59

Juniors lead the scoring effort. Senior Ben Kase scores a career-high.

Flint Hill boys basketball defeated rival Potomac Feb. 2 at Oakton High School, 63-59.

"Senior guard Ben Kase scored a career-high 12 points, including two three-pointers, as Flint Hill won round one of this heated rivalry," said coach Rico Reed.

Rico said the game saw a number of lead changes with the Huskies leading 30-29 at the half.

Junior forward Cole Herdman topped scoring for the Flint Hill side with 14 points, all netted during thr second half.   

Junior guard Matt Kennedy helped his team with 10 points and two three-pointers.

The Huskies will get another chance at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 8 at Potomac.
