Flint Hill Swimmers Win Against Potomac School

Boys and girls showed a strong effort with final scores to match.

Flint Hill swimmers defeated rival Potomac School Wedneday night in a double victory that ended the regular season.

The boys topped Potomac 82-63 and tallied five event wins. Girls swam an 88-63 win and earned seven event wins.

  • Junior captain Eric Tang won the 200-yard freestyle
  • Junior Tristan Timblin won the 500-yard freestyle
  • Junior captain Zach Thornburg won the 100-yard backstroke
  • Team Tang, Timblin, Thornburg and sophomore Zane Homsi won the 200-yard freestyle relay
  • Team Tang, Thornburg, sophomore Wil Ciesar and Timblin won the 400-yard freestyle relay
  • Senior captain Rachel Swarts won the 200-yard freestyle
  • Freshman Lauren Freeman won the 50-yard freestyle
  • Freshman Cailin Mazan won the 100-yard freestyle
  • Sophomore Logan Cunningham won the 500-yard freestyle
  • Senior captain Natalie Brendsel won the 100-yard breaststroke
  • Team sophomore Olivia Stiebel, senior Anna Lombardo, Swarts and senior captain Natalie Brendsel won the 200-yard freestyle relay
  • Team Mazan, Lombardo, Brendsel and Swarts won the 400-yard freestyle relay.
