Flint Hill Swimmers Set Record

Despite Tuesday loss, Huskies show strong performance in 200 yard medley.

Though the Flint Hill School's girls swim team lost 107-63 on Tuesday in a dual meet at Madiera, the swimmers posted a new school record worth celebrating.

The 200 yard medley relay team set a new school record for the event in 1:57.56, Sports Information Director McClain Bell said.

The members of the relay team — freshmen Ella Hamilton and Lauren Freeman, and seniors Rachel Swarts and Natalie Brendsel — also had personal performances to celebrate: Swarts had a victory in the 100 yard backstroke, and Brendsel swept the 500 yard freestyle.
