Dive: Two Cougars Place in Top 6 at Districts

Two Oakton High School divers placed in the top six at the Concorde District Championship meet Friday.

Seniors Joe LeBerre and Andy Berger, both of whom already qualified for the Northern Region tournament in the regular season, placed second and sixth, respectively.

Though none of the divers on the girls team qualified for the regional meet, two placed in the top 10: Hana Burkly and Grace Wagner.

The top six divers advance to the Northern Region tournament.

The swim team competed Saturday night in the Concorde District meet. Points from the swim meet will combine with the dive competition to determine which teams advance to the Northern Region tournament.
