Boys Lacrosse: Cougars Overwhelm Generals 14-2

Oakton High wins second consecutive game with victory over Washington-Lee

The 14-2 victory over Washington-Lee on Friday marks the Oakton High boys lacrosse team's second win of the season. 

Sean Schweiker, attackman and senior captain, led the Cougars with five goals and one assist. Junior attackman Jack Harris tallied four goals and one assist. Pat Goulding, Mike Gillooly, Richie Daum, Charlie Allen and Jeremy Marshall each added a goal.

Connor Anderson and Jon Lohmann made five and four saves, respectively, to hold the Generals to two goals in the game.

The win starts a two-game streak ahead of the Cougars' participation in the Statesmen Spring Invitational at Marshall High next week. The Cougars will first face Marshall at 5 p.m. Tuesday then Bishop Ireton at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
