Boys Basketball: Huskies Lose to Conference Foe

Flint Hill unable to overcome second period woes against Maret

The Flint Hill Huskies mounted a comeback in the third period, but the Maret Frogs squelched their efforts to give the Huskies their second consecutive loss.

The 69-58 loss puts the Huskies' record at 7-6 (2-1 MAC) ahead of their rival game against Potomac on Friday.

After tying the game at 15-15 in the first period with a steal and a layup from senior Trevor Ogundepo, the Huskies never found a way to pull ahead before halftime. The Frogs held the Huskies to 11 points in the second period while scoring 23 of their own.
