Basketball: Flint Hill Basketball Edges Sidwell Friends

Huskies boys basketball wins with two free throws down the stretch

Flint Hill Boys' Basketball beat Sidwell Friends 47-46 on Sunday, increasing their winning streak to five.

Coach Rico Reed recapped the game:

"Senior guard Jerrod Reed hit two free throws with 7.6 seconds remaining to win the game for Flint Hill at home against 47-46.  Junior forward Cole Herdman finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds.  He scored 10 in the second half.  Junior guard Britton Anderson contributed 11 points and 4 steals, and sophomore forward Sam Worman chipped in with 10 points and 4 rebounds."
