Oakton High Vies for $10,000 in Spirit Contest

Students, parents participate in street party to celebrate Cougar pride

Students and parents helped pump up the football and field hockey teams before their games Friday with a street party outside Oakton High School.

With a White-Out theme, fans dressed all in white, with some going so far as to paint themselves or dye their hair white, as well.

The street party came ahead of the voting period for Johnsonville Spiritville contest, in which the Cougars are finalists.
