Oakton High School’s Cougar Marching Band started preparing for competition last weekend as part of the Fairfax County Band Directors Association (FCBDA) Marching Band Clinic and Exhibition Showcase.
The showcase is intended to allow FCPS marching bands to perform their routine to an audience of other marching band members. Oakton band members performed in front of clinicians who gave feedback to players, according to a press release from FCPS.
The next clinic is scheduled for the same time next year.
