Oakton High Canteen Needs Volunteers
After school snack bar needs parent, community volunteers on Fridays.
Oakton High Students rely on "The Canteen" for after school snacks, and now, the snack bar needs additional parent volunteers to keep it running on Fridays.
The Canteen needs one or two volunteers for the second and fourth Fridays of each month, according to a bulletin posted on the school's website.
Volunteers would need to be at the school from about 1:30 to 3 p.m. on those days; The Canteen is open between 2:05 and 2:45 p.m. every afternoon.

If volunteers aren't found, the canteen will shut down on those days, the bulletin said.
