Flint Hill Homecoming: Students Show Off Spirit

Students, faculty participate in Spirit Week ahead of Saturday's Homecoming games

Flint Hill School students showed their school pride this week, participating in Spirit Week ahead of this weekend's Homecoming festivities.

Students of both the Lower and Upper schools dressed up for theme days throughout the week: USA Pride, Wacky-Tacky, Favorite Character and Class Color Day.

On Tuesday, each class decorated a doghouse to be put on display on the school's campus through Saturday.

Today, students will host a pep rally, Powderpuff game and bonfire to get the school community pumped for several fall teams' matchups for Homecoming.

Four varsity teams will compete Saturday:

  • 10:00 a.m.: Volleyball vs. John Paul the Great (Gym)
  • 11:00 a.m.:Girls' soccer vs. School Without Walls (Turf Field)
  • 1:00 p.m.: Boys' soccer vs. School Without Walls (Turf Field)
  • 2:30 p.m.: Football vs. St. James (Football Field)

As the athletes compete, spectators can play carnival games, engage in sports competitions or take the "Adrenaline Rush" mega inflatable challenge course.

Homecoming week's festivities will culminate in the annual dance from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the school.
