Due to statewide redistricting, some voters may be going to a different polling location than in past years.
Virginia is an open primary state, which means voters can vote in either party's primary. The only restriction is voters may not vote in more than one party's primary on the same election day, but that won't be a problem for Oakton voters Tuesday because only one race will appear on the ballot.
