Health Care Town Halls Scheduled for 9/11 First Responders in Arlington

By Jason Spencer

The Centers for Disease Control's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will hold two town halls in Arlington next week to answer questions about the health program for first responders to the Pentagon on 9/11, U.S. Rep. Jim Moran announced this week.

Earlier this year, the World Trade Center Health Program expanded its coverage to include rescue, recovery and cleanup workers who served at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pa.

Enrollment started in May. Nearly 1,500 people were expected to enroll when the expansion was announced, according to Bloomberg News.
