At about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Suh was driving his 1997 Nissan Altima when he disregarded the stop sign on Blake Lane near Santini's and struck a 2008 Jeep in the right lane of northbound Chain Bridge Road (Route 123). The Jeep went airborne, and landed overturned in the left lane facing oncoming traffic, police said. A 2007 Toyota traveling behind the Jeep then struck it. As they rolled forward from impact, all three vehicles then struck a 2005 Lexus that had been traveling in front of them.
The drivers of the Jeep, a 46-year-old man, and the Lexus, a 36-year-old woman, were transported to Fairfax Inova Hospital. None of the four vehicles involved carried passengers.
