Man Charged in Accident At Route 123 and Miller Road

Car ends up in ditch after Wednesday incident.

A man was charged with failure to yield right of way after an accident Wednesday that forced another car nose-first into a ditch off of Chain Bridge Road.

Fairfax County Police Department spokesman Officer Don Gotthardt reported round 1:11 p.m. Wednesday, a 69-year-old man was driving north on Route 123.

The man, driving a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, made a left in front of a 2012 Honda Civic traveling southbound on the road.

The Honda Civic bounced off of a third car coming out of Miller Road onto Route 123 before going off road and landing in the ditch.

There were no injuries.
