Garbage Truck Driver Charged in Miller Heights Crash

Man charged with driving a vehicle not under control

Police have charged the garbage truck driver in the with driving a vehicle not under control. 

Collins Boateng, 43, was driving an American Disposal Services garbage truck when he hit a white Lincoln Navigator as he made a left turn from Miller Heights Road onto Blue Roan Road, Fairfax County Police said. 

The incident was called into police around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. Because fuel spilled, the vehicles blocked a portion of the intersection while crews secured the area before moving the vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

The trash truck drivers from that company drive WAY too fast in residential neighborhoods. Lucky they haven't nailed some schoolkids. FCPD should set up in bneighborhoods and ticket a few more of them, maybe they will get the message. LWS-Oakton
