For the week ending Sept. 12, there were two major incidents and seven larcenies included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. Fair Oaks District encompasses Oakton.
Major Incidents — Fair Oaks

Peeping: 11800 block of Federalist Way, 9/6/12, 9 p.m. The victim reported she saw a man looking in her window. The man fled when before police arrived.
Unlawful Entry: 3100 block of Spring Street, 9/10/12, 1 a.m. An employee reported an unknown man in the fenced lot. When the caller and several employees approached, the suspect fled by jumping the fence.

Larcenies
- 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road, two bottles of liquor from business
- 13100 block of Frog Hollow Court, bicycle from business
- 11200 block of James Swart Circle, wallet from business
- 12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, cell phone from business
- 12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, bicycle from residence
- 13000 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, wallet from business
- 12700 block of Sabastian Drive, ten chainsaws from vehicle
Animal Control Division — Countywide
Maltreat Animal: 12700 block of Pinecrest Road, 9/6/12, 6 p.m. A resident captured a dog running at large. They were concerned for the welfare of the Cocker Spaniel, so Animal Control officers responded. The owner, Jennifer Taylor, 44, was located and charged with unlicensed dog, dog running at large and inadequate care.
Running at Large: 6800 block of Dina Leigh Court, 9/11/12, 1:30 p.m. Animal Control officers were called for a small dog running at large. The dog ran home before officers arrived. Filomena Umayam, 59, of Springfield, was charged with unlicensed dog.

The following Oakton resident was included in Fairfax County Police’s weekly log released Sept. 13. The name was taken from the list Fairfax County Police publishes weekly of those arrested in Fairfax County. An arrest not indicate a conviction.
