Fair Oaks Police Log: March 15-21

A summary of the latest incidents reported

For the week ending March 21, there were three larcenies and one major incident included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. Fair Oaks District encompasses Oakton.

Major Incidents — Fair Oaks District

Burglary: 3100 block of Wheatland Farms Drive, 3/16/12, 10:38 p.m. The homeowner reported two unknown people entered his unlocked garage and stole beer from the refrigerator.

Larcenies

  • 13600 Birch Drive, wallet from vehicle
  • 12200 Price Club Plaza, tools from vehicle 
  • 4700 West Ox Road, television from business

Animal Control Division — Countywide

Maltreat Animal, 15000 block of Conference Center Drive, 1/15/12, 1:15 p.m. Animal Control Officers responded for a dog locked in a vehicle. The Fire/Rescue Department made entry. William Fraser, 59, of Norfolk, was charged with providing inadequate shelter. The dog was not injured.
