For the week ending April 25, there were 10 larcenies, one vehicle theft and one major incident included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. Fair Oaks District encompasses Oakton.

Burglary: 2900 block of Fort Lee Street, 4/21/12, 9:25 p.m. The victim returned home from walking the dog when he found three juveniles in the garage. They ran off with bottles of beer and wine. One juvenile, 16-year-old boy from Fairfax was later identified.
