Crime Report: Swastika Reportedly Drawn on Oakton Residence

A swastika was found etched onto an outdoor staircase of an Oakton residence, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
 
The case was reported at 4:15 p.m. on August 26 at the home on the 3400 block of Waples Glen Court. The incident is under investigation, according to police.
 
No other information was immediately available.
 
Burglary
Jewelry was reported stolen from an Oakton home, police said. The burglary was reported at 8 a.m. on August 26 on the 3100 block of Ariana Drive. There were no signs of forced entry.

Officers responded to an alarm that was set off in a Fairfax County business and found a shattered front door. An employee reported that documents were stolen. The incident was reported at 7:15 a.m. on August 23 on the 11700 block of Lee Highway in Fairfax.
