Crime Report: Fairfax Man, 29, Charged with Trying to Steal Man's Cell Phone

Robbery

A 29-year-old Fairfax man has been charged with trying to snatch a man’s cell phone.

The incident took place at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday on the 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road in Oakton, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. A man was sitting in his parked car when a man approached and tried to grab the man’s phone, police said.

The victim resisted and the would-be robber fled. Police were able to find the man. Brian Christopher Lee was charged with robbery.

11200 block of Lee Highway in Fairfax: cell phone was were stolen from a from business
