Here is this week's question:

How can I start a neighborhood watch in my neighborhood? Do we work with the Fairfax County Police to set it up?

To start a Neighborhood Watch, contact your station's Crime Prevention Officer. He will be more than happy to meet with you and your neighbors to explain how to get it started. It’s very easy. I am the prevention officer for the Fair Oaks Station and can be reached at richard.twombly@fairfaxcounty.gov.
