Vale United Methodist Church is sponsoring a chili cook-off to benefit the Cornelius Corps. Building transforming relationships among suburban and inner city people through education, service, worship, and fellowship is the mission of The Cornelius Corps, a special ministry in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Come enjoy a great chili-dog lunch.
You'll have an opportunity to taste all of the entries and vote for the best chili. First, second, and third prize ribbons will be awarded. All proceeds go to the Cornelius Corps and will be matched one-for-one through the generosity of one of their partner churches.
Suggested donation is $10 per person or $25 per family.
