Holocaust Survivor To Describe Experiences

As a little Jewish girl
born in Paris, Monique Saigal was sent to Southern France to be hidden with a
Catholic family during World War II. Members of Monique’s family perished in
Auschwitz and her father died while fighting in the French Army. After the war
she was reunited with her mother and eventually came to America.

Hear about
Monique’s incredible experiences and those of the French women in the
Resistance. Dr. Saigal’s latest book, French Heroines 1940-1945, describes her
experiences during the war, those of the women in the French Resistance, and those
of the wonderful family who sheltered during the war.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at her presentation.
