Retired cop will discuss marijuana legalization
Howard Wooldridge spent 18 years as a cop in Michigan, seeing first-hand the failure of the War on Drugs, and in 2002 he and four colleagues founded Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP). He now heads Citizens Opposing Prohibition (COP), which makes presentations to every Congressional office every year. Howard has testified before state committees in Annapolis, Richmond and Austin, and is famous for riding his horse, Misty, across the country to raise awaremeness about the harm caused by drug prohibition. He and Misty also campaigend for the marijuana legalization initiative in Colorado last year.
