Oakton Girls Basketball Posts Three Big Wins
The Oakton girls varsity basketball team remains undefeated in Concorde District play, with three more wins in one week.
The Oakton Girls Basketball team earned three wins in a week. On Monday, January 28, the team beat Herndon 88-45; on Tuesday, the Cougars beat Chantilly 65-35; and on Friday, February 1, the Oakton girls beat Robinson 56-29.
Tuesday's game at home was also Senior Night, honoring seniors Hayley Hawkins, Elizabeth Manner, Helen Roberts and Angela Sickels.
The Cougars remain undefeated in Concorde District play, but will face good competition in their last two regular-season games against Centreville (away) on Tuesday, February 5, and against Westfield (at home) on Friday, February 8.
