Why Go: Wonderland is a play based on the classic Alice in Wonderland story. Treat your family to a night of imagination and entertainment. The play is fascinating for little kids but engaging for big ones, too!

Where/When: Patriot Center, 4400 University Drive, Fairfax from 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m. March 4 and March 5

Why Go: Who doesn’t love the Harlem Globetrotters? They put on a great show for kids who love sports, theater or just having fun. The whole family can spend quality bonding time watching the lively Globetrotters.

Where/When: Reston Art Gallery and Studio, 11400 Washington Plaza W, Reston from 10 a.m.-noon March 5

Why Go: If you are looking for some hands-on activities for your kids, look no further than this Children’s Art workshop in Reston. Let your kids indulge in their creative side. Kids will have a ball, and parents will enjoy the masterpieces that their kids bring home!

Pricing: Free for kids!

Where/When: Jammin’ Java, 227 Maple Ave. E, Vienna at 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. March 5

Why Go: Justin Roberts and his band put on a great show the whole family will enjoy. The songs are upbeat, and the lyrics are witty. Their shows are so entertaining kids often gather at the foot of the stage and dance around—like a real rock concert!

Pricing: $15 per person

Where/When: Vienna Baptist Church, 541 Marshall Rd. SW, Vienna at 4 p.m. March 5

Why Go: The Vienna Choral Society both sings and mimes some of Aesop’s most famous fables. There are also two featured clowns that help to act out the stories. This is truly a special event!
