Why Go: Enjoy the beautiful nature in spring! Take your kids to make crafts using only items they find in nature. Your kids will get to be imaginative while basking in the much-welcomed spring weather.

Where/When: Olson Theater on Flint Hill East Campus, 10409 Academic Dr., Oakton on March 17 at 7 p.m.

Why Go: Introduce your children to the wonderful world of Shakespeare. Flint Hill seventh- and eighth-graders will put on the Shakespearean classic “Macbeth.” The whole family will enjoy this entertaining and educational performance.

Pricing: Free admission with a reservation

Where/When: 7101 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield on Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Why Go: Are you looking for birthday, Easter or Mother’s Day gifts? Grab the kids and head down to the Garfield Elementary arts and crafts fair. More than 65 vendors will be on hand selling their wares. Plus, there will be a crafts room especially for kids to play and be creative while their parents shop.

Pricing: Admission is free

Where/When: Claude Moore Recreation Center, 46105 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Why Go: First Lady Michelle Obama is sponsoring the national “Let’s Move” campaign to get kids to be more active and healthier. The Claude Moore Rec Center is hosting a variety of fun activities for kids and teens. Kids will be able to hike, bike, canoe, skate, kayak and much more!

Pricing: Free!

Where/When: Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Ct., Vienna on March 20 from 2-4 p.m.

Why Go: Camp Grow is a spring break and summer camp program hosted by the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Head to the Gardens on Sunday for an open house for Camp Grow, and let you kids test-drive some of the camp activities.
