The groundbreaking ceremony for the Providence Community Center near the Vienna Metro Station took place last week.

Construction has officially begun on the 32,000-square-foot Providence Community Center near the Vienna Metro Station.

Fairfax County officials hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the start of construction last Saturday.

The facility will include a gym, activity room, and classrooms. It’s set to open in 2015.
