Why Go: Young children will be dazzled by Ringmaster Harold Wood! He performs a whole circus—complete with juggling and magic—all from items he keeps in his special suitcase. This event is great for younger children but is open to all ages.

Why Go: Jolly Jack is a playful children’s entertainer, and he will be in Reston this week! Bring your kids down to Lake Anne Plaza for an lively show that will sure to get them energized.

Where/When: Reston Community Center, 2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston on Friday, June 24 from 8-11 p.m.

Why Go: Now that school is out, many teenagers are itching for fun. Let them indulge for a day at Busch Gardens! For only $20 (plus the cost of food), your teens can enjoy a fun-filled day at an amusement park with their friends. Chaperones will be on hand to check on the kids periodically throughout the day.

Why Go: If your teens are budding musicians, let them jam with fellow music lovers at Caffe Amouri in Vienna. The “Community Music Jam” offers an opportunity for musicians of all skill levels to get together and play any music they desire. This event can provide your teens with much-needed summertime enrichment.

Why Go: Are you looking for ways to keep your kids learning throughout the summer? Take your brood to Operation: Spycraft at the Reston Library. Kids will learn about spies and their gadgets from a real-life CIA agent. This event is designed for kids aged 12-18.
