Want to Adopt or Foster a Child? Informational Adoption Fair Covers All Adoption Avenues

Have you have ever considered adopting or fostering a child? The upcoming Adoption Fair, held by Children’s Home Society and Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, is a fantastic resource for answering any of your adoption or foster care questions. The Adoption Fair will be held in Oakton, Virginia, on May 31. The event is completely free and free child care will be provided.

The Adoption Fair will cover all forms of adoption and fostering, including local adoption, international adoption, private adoption, and our local foster care system. Representatives from each of these facets of the adoption and foster care system will be available to answer your questions, as well as families who have adopted or fostered who are willing to share their personal experiences.

In addition to talking freely with adoption and foster care professionals and families at the fair’s main hall, attendees can also attend formal presentations covering local and international adoption as well as fostering and private adoption. Participants can also stay for the adult adoptee panel and ask now-grown adoptees what it is like to be a part of an adoptive family.
