- Oakton High School is hosting a Back to School Night for parents in grades 11 and 12. The program begins at 7 p.m. at 2900 Sutton Road in Vienna.
- The City of Fairfax Regional Library is inviting teens to learn more about volunteering in Fairfax County for an information session. The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library on 10360 North Street in Fairfax.
- Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Karen Garza along with four others will be on a panel discussion called Behind the Headlines: the State of Education in Fairfax County. The forum is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fairfax High School on 3501 Rebel Run in Fairfax. The Washington Post-sponsored event is free.
- The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority is hosting a work shop on “Promoting Your Startup: Musts and Mistakes.” The workshop is from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the FCEDA on 8300 Boone Boulevard, suite 450 in Tyson’s Corner.
