- The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority is conducting a free workshop for those hoping to start a business in Fairfax County. The workshop is from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. today at 8300 Boone Blvd. Suite 450 in Tyson’s Corner. The event is free and no pre registration is required. More information.
- Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. CrisisLink in Fairfax County has a suicide prevention hotline at 703-527-4077. Learn about the warning signs of suicide.
- Mark your calendar: On Wednesday, the Fairfax County Public Library Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. at the George Mason Regional Library, 7001 Little River Turnpike in Annandale. On the agenda are proposed budget cuts that would cut staffing at county libraries. Read our previous coverage.
