More than 100,000 customers across Northern Virginia lost power Saturday after strong storms swept through the area.

The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning for the Northern Virginia area that expired Saturday at 4:15 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning was also issued. It has since expired.

Twitter user @VanceJason reported a tree had fallen on a car off Bushman Drive in Oakton. For photo, see box at right.

Several readers reported a tree down on Cedar Lane in Vienna at the south side of the Cottage Street intersection, blocking both lanes of traffic.
