Shakespeare, a charity tennis tournament, and a comedy legend — there are lots of exciting events for families this week!

Where/When: Wolf Trap Foundation, 1645 Trap Road, Vienna on Thursday, June 2 at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Who doesn’t love Bill Cosby? Take your kids and teens to Wolf Trap to listen to the jovial wit of the legendary comedian. Older kids (and adults!) who are familiar with Bill Cosby’s career will especially enjoy this show.

Where/When: North Hills Tennis Courts, 1325 N. Village Road, Reston on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4 at 5 p.m.

Why Go: Any event where you can do something active with your kids AND support a good cause is one not to miss! Enter the Raise a Racquet for Kids charity tennis tournament with your kids or teens. All skill levels are welcome to play, so this is a great opportunity to help your kids hone their tennis play.

Pricing: $40 per team

Where/When: Herndon High School, 700 Bennett St., Herndon on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Herndon High School is presenting the ethereal, classic Shakespeare play “A Midsummer’s Night Dream.” It’s never too early to introduce your kids to the scholarly work of Shakespeare, and seeing his works performed on stage really make them come to life. Treat your kids to a night out to see this fantastic show.

Pricing: $10/ticket

Where/When: Christ Crossman United Methodist Church, 384 N. Washington St., Falls Church on Saturday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: The World Children’s Choir takes the stage in Vienna to sing a host of Broadway favorites and international folk songs. Children of all ages will enjoy the show, particularly because the show involves an audience sing-a-long!

Pricing: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, $10 for kids under 12

Where/When: Reston Town Center, 11900 Market St., Reston on Monday, June 6 from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

Why Go: Mr. Knick-Knack is a big hit with little kids! He’s a folk singer who performs every Monday for local kids at Reston Town Center. His folksy songs, vibrant personality, and positive messages will resonate with kids and parents. Many families come back every week to catch Mr. Knick-Knack’s show!
